Britney Spears said it best... "Oooops I did it again", but this time it's THE HOLY GRAIL. Never did I think I'd own this due to it being very hard to get. My SA Carol who also helped me with my GST and WOC wait list order emailed me Thursday night saying they just got a shipment of 3-4 classics, 2 being a Jumbo!!
So during my lunch break on Fri, I took a long lunch and came into work 45 minutes early in hopes the bags would still be there until Carol came in at 1. Now, not only was there a M/L in the shipment, but there was also a Jumbo for me to try!!! Anyone who knows a thing or two about these Classics know that it's RARE to stumble upon both at the same time. I wasn't on the wait list, but my wonderful SA hooked me up :) the Jumbo was too similar in size to my GST. I needed an evening bag/small bag and felt that the Jumbo was too casual. Sure you can wear it as a cross body, but that would be pretty large! I went for the Classic M/L Double Flap in Black Caviar GHW. I. Love. Her! Cost was $4900 before tax and so worth it. She's made in France where as the Jumbo was made in Italy. I "heard" the Jumbos now only come made in Italy... 19xxxxxx series!
I had Carol remove me from the WOC waiting list. I liked the WOC but I think I was settling on it thinking I'd never get the double flap. I'm content for a quite a while :)
