Jan 1st, 2015 I knew my dream bag for not only this year (but forever) would be the Jumbo in caviar SHW. I emailed my SA a few days later and she said it wouldn't be hard to get and they were expecting a shipment late January. Well, she was right! However I had just paid an arm and a leg (slight exaggeration) to the tax man, so while she called me late last week, I declined.
I WAS KICKING MYSELF the next 12 hours for not getting it! I called her the next day and said I wanted this bag by April for my birthday but worried about the looming price increase! She assured me she would take care of me, and said they're getting another shipment first week of February and to stop by and reserve one in case she wasn't there when the shipment came. So Monday February 2 I did just that! During lunch I paid a visit, gave her my card, and went back to work. Every day that went by I kept thinking about this bag!!!
I left work February 6 early as I had a Dr. Appointment (all good), and while filming a YouTube video of my updated handbag collection, towards the end of filming she called! Jumbo comes home T-minus 4 hours!!!
I was too tired to drive there last night so I'm getting it today!! I decided to tap into savings and get this to save money before the next price increase. I'm beyond excited!! My video features me acting like a bumbling idiot but I don't care!
My collection is COMPLETE!! I love the M/L I have in GHW but the Jumbo will be an every day bag which is why I got it in silver. I would love a LV Empreient piece, and the Trevi PM but I'm done for quite some time. And I don't want to pay $2500 for canvas anymore so my LV days (SLG's are fair game) are done. I'm done with Chanel bags even though I would LOVE a Beige GST/Jumbo in GHW lol. But that is not happening...
