Radiocat

So my cat Boogers was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism.  He has had loose stools for a while and I noticed his weight was going down yet his appetite was ravenous! He was prescribed Methimazole pills which fixed his thyroid issue but it was so hard to be consistent with the medicine as he is terrible to medicate.  So they suggested getting ear gel which was a breeze to administer but he had a terrible reaction to it from the compounds used.  Radiocat it is!

Radiocat is basically radiation which is administered into his thyroid gland.  The only bad part is Boogers and I will be apart for 5 days.  I'll survive but I do worry about him missing and wondering where I am :(

So looking forward to his surgery being done and can't wait for him to get back to normal and put on some weight.  He went from 19 pounds to 14 pounds in a short time span.  I've read that 1 pound lost on a cat is equal to 10 on a human.
