Yesterday I went with my best friend to adopt a dog. She wanted a playmate for her dog Toby and I'm happy to report he now has a new friend to play with :)
I had spent the night at her house as today I had a hair appointment. I'm trying to get rid of the remaining layers in my hair and am one haircut away from a true bob. My stylist, Monique, dyed my hair a shade darker and also added in some highlights and then cut my hair into a bob. I had her do the same haircut 2 months ago but the back was getting funky and long. So much better!
Then I went to the MAC store. I've never owned a MAC lipstick but last week I had ordered online "Ladybug" and can now appreciate all the hype about this brand! So today I drove to the mall and bought "Freckletone", "Cherish" and "Creme in your coffee". How did I decide on these colors? I bought "Creme in your coffee" after trying it on at the MAC store as I wanted a natural color with a bit of mauve in it. I had YouTubed "Freckletone" and "Cherish" and loved how they looked on people. I'm a little disappointed in "Cherish" only because it's a bit lighter than I had hoped for but it is different than the others I purchased.
Where I currently live there's no MAC store but I'm moving out east about an hour where I used to live and there's a MAC store there. It was nice driving there today as it was 15 minutes from my hair sylist. So can't wait to move this Saturday!!!
