When you think of booking a flight over the Christmas holidays, I highly doubt Minnesota would be the first place you would think of... Yeah, that makes two of us!
Last year I visited my mom and a few high school friends. I hadn't seen my mom in over four years and my high school friends since we graduated in '96. Actually, I take that back. My friend Jess had drove down during my sophomore year of college to hear my clarinet recital. I've known her since elementary school. Ironically her dad went to school with my mom!
My plan is to meet up with her and maybe a few other friends if they're available. I miss not being charged tax on clothes and food in MN. Last year Jess and I went to the Mall of America. It's not that great of a mall in my opinion... None the less it was fun hanging out with her. We also saw the final Twilight movie which we both agreed was the best one in the series.
Below is a picture she posted on Facebook of how last April they still had snow. Even in May they got hit with snow!!! Very unusual as mid April is usually shorts weather in MN!
