Crock pot overload!

I've had my crock pot for over 10 years give or take and have probably used it 10x total during those 10 years.  Yesterday I had cooked a pot roast after seeing a friend's recipe.  It turned out great! In the past I have browned the roast, put it in the oven with potatoes/carrots and seasoned.  The recipe I used was easier and tastier!

I took one packet of dry onion soup, one dry ranch packet, and one packet of dry gravy mix. Pour the seasonings on the roast, add 1/2 cup water (I used 1 cup) and add potatoes and carrots.  Voila!

Today I made two chicken pot pies from a recipe another friend gave me.  I put in 3 defrosted chicken breasts into the crock pot, added a family sized cream of mushroom soup (she uses cream of chicken), potatoes, carrots, mushrooms, corn, green beans, salt/pepper/onion powder.  I cooked it on low for about 6 hours and the chicken just fell apart.  Then I used a pack of Pillsbury's pie crust on the bottom, poured the crock pot mixture into the pie crust, and put the top crust on (forgot to add cheese before the top crust but it still tasted great).   Then brush egg whites on the crust and cook at 400 until brown.  Man that was delish! Below are pictures of this fantastic and easy pot pie! The final product is a bit blurry but you get the idea :)
