I've always wanted a Keepall for traveling. I knew November 2 would be the second price increase for 2013 on LV products. While I didn't buy the following BEFORE the increase, I did decide to buy it because it would come in handy, and I wanted a quality piece to end all pieces.
I purchased the LV Keepall 55 in Damier Ebene print. While I no longer have a Monogram print LV item since I sold a few pieces (and I still want to fix that) the one thing I dislike about the Monogram print is the vachetta leather. Love the patina that happens over time, but god forbid you get a water spot on it! I have thought about buying the "Lovin my Bags" care kit, but would rather spend the money elsewhere.
So the delima was do I buy the Keepall for about $17xx.xx after taxes or buy the Neverfull MM in Mono and a Speedy 30 in Mono. I decided on the Keepall 55 because I'm going to MN next month and early January I'll be traveling to GA. The 55 is cabin legal and I pack pretty light.
I looked on eBay but honestly, I would die if I spent half the price for a "deal" if it turned out to be fake. One day I'll hopefully have a pre-loved item, but I just worry too much about the fakes.
Now I know I said "NO MORE SHOPPING" but I'm coming into some money at the end of December so that'll pay for the Keepall (even though I just paid it off). I would be lying if I wasn't thinking of buying a Neverfull MM in Mono next month... And that would be IT for spending money on large items... We shall see...
In other news, my iPad Air case from "Finite" arrived today and I love it! I've purchased 3 of these cases for my Ipad 4 (which my dad now has) and I highly recommend them!
